Engineering / Design
Mechanical Systems Design Engineer, senior level, experienced in the development and production design of automated equipment in support of semiconductor and medical industries. Strong emphasis on formulation of system concepts and machine tool technology, encompassing product handling / transport, vision systems, precision positioning and pneumatics. Experience in vacuum system technology a plus. Solid Modeling CAD experience required (Solid Works and / or Mechanical Desk Top desired).
Senior Electrical/Software Design Engineer, skilled in development of system architectures, electrical and electronic design, PCB layout, embedded and PLC controllers, software development, control theory and sensors. Knowledge of pneumatics and motion control a plus. Ability to manage projects from concept through production. Good communication and documentation skills a must. BSEE or equivalent, with a minimum of eight (8) years experience.
Packaging Designer, experienced in electro / mechanical packaging encompassing: power distribution, control systems, pneumatics, enclosures, wiring / cabling and system documentation. Knowledge in clean room design practices and high purity applications are a plus. Candidates should have a minimum of five (5) years of CAD experience, preferably in solid modeling, together with a two(2) year technical degree or equivalent.
Manufacturing
Machinists
Toolmaker, senior level position, experienced in the trade of precision machining, close tolerance prototype work of dies, tooling, fixtures and machined parts. Work requires original thinking, independent actions and knowledge of all types of tool room equipment, including mills, grinders, lathes and jig bores. Experience in operating jig grinders, wire and ram EDMs a plus. Knowledge of CNC programming helpful - willing to train. Must be able to work well in a dynamic, highly technical engineering environment. Some supervision and direction of others may be required. Opportunity to develop management skills will be afforded.
CNC Machinist, mid-level position, experienced in close tolerance, prototype CNC milling machine programming, setup and operation. Under minimal supervision, works from written procedures, detailed blueprints and verbal instructions to G-code program, setup tooling and fixtures, first piece inspect and operate CNC equipment. Heavy emphasis on machine setups and breakdowns and independent programming of various prototype jobs throughout the course of the day. Knowledge of MasterCam CAM programming and Fanuc controls operation a plus. Some supervision and direction of production operators may be required.
CNC Lathe Machinist, mid-level position, experienced in close tolerance, prototype CNC lathe programming, setup and operation. Under minimal supervision, works from written procedures, detailed blueprints and verbal instructions to G-code program, setup tooling, first piece inspect and operate CNC lathes of various sizes and styles. Heavy emphasis on machine setups and breakdowns and independent programming of various prototype jobs throughout the course of the day. Procurement
Estimator, experienced in cost estimating for high precision machining. Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly costing a plus. Responsibilities will encompass working with experienced estimators to cost jobs, submit quotes, interface with customers, subcontractors and vendors and work closely with engineering and production control to support sales and manufacturing commitments. Good verbal and written communication skills required. Some computer skills helpful.
